Azerbaijan's defenсe minister meets CTO of Türkiye's Baykar Technology

Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Türkiye's Baykar Technology Selcuk Bayraktar, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, on April 3.

During the meeting, the minister noted that military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is based on friendly and fraternal ties, and stressed that these ties are developing and strengthening day by day, Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

It was stressed that friendly relations between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Türkiye play an important role in the development of ties between the two countries.

Bayraktar expressed satisfaction with the visit to Azerbaijan and noted that such meetings are of great importance from the viewpoint of expansion of mutual cooperation.

The current state and prospects of military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye were discussed at the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Zakir Hasanov awarded Bayraktar with the medal "For Merits in the Field of Military Cooperation".
