Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli marked its City Day with a vibrant series of cultural and artistic events, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display that lit up the city’s night sky.
The celebrations, organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories, and the Karabakh Revival Fund, also extended to Aghdam and Khojavand districts, reflecting the spirit of unity and cultural revival across the region, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
As part of the festivities, the Fuzuli State Drama Theatre for Children staged a performance of Puss in Boots at Secondary School No. 1 named after Mirzo Ulugbek, delighting young audiences with the classic tale.
The Kurmangazy Children’s Creativity Center hosted a photo exhibition titled The Spirit of Victory, celebrating the resilience and heritage of the region. Alongside the exhibition, fine arts master classes were held, offering children hands-on experience in drawing and creative expression.
The celebrations continued with a special concert featuring performances by local artists and dancers, creating a festive atmosphere that brought the community together in joy and remembrance.
The day’s events concluded in grand fashion, as colourful fireworks lit up the skies of Fuzuli, marking the close of the celebrations and symbolizing hope, renewal, and the bright future of the city.
