Azerbaijan’s Khojavand welcomes returning families with new homes PHOTO
A new group of former internally displaced persons has returned to their native areas in Azerbaijan’s Khojavand district, with new housing handed over in two separate settlements.
In the village of Khanoba in the Khojavand district, 13 families comprising a total of 60 people were provided with new homes, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Separately, in Khojavand city, keys to apartments were handed over to 39 families, totalling 176 individuals, as part of the ongoing resettlement process.
The ceremonies were attended by representatives of the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, as well as officials from the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.
