Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister instructs to develop action plan regarding announcement of Shusha as cultural capital of Islamic world

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has instructed to develop the action plan regarding the declaration of Shusha city as the cultural capital of the Islamic world.

The Prime Minister signed a document which envisages ensuring the implementation of the Order of the Azerbaijani President dated 21 November 2023 "On measures related to the declaration of the city of Shusha as the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World for 2024", Report informs.

At the 12th Conference of Ministers of Culture in Islamic World held on 25 September 2023 in Doha, the capital of Qatar, the city of Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, was declared "Cultural Capital of the Islamic World for 2024".
