Azerbaijan's security operations yield cache of arms in liberated lands PHOTO / VIDEO

A substantial cache of weaponry and ammunition was discovered and seized in Khankendi during security operations conducted last week by Azerbaijan's Interior Ministry to ensure safety in the liberated territories.

The haul included 38 automatic rifles, 2 machine guns, 9 pistols, 14 rifles, 69 grenades, 1 grenade launcher, 61 fuses, 1 artillery shell, 10 land mines, 11 kg of gunpowder, 9 night vision devices, 31 bayonets, 26 radios, 197 ammunition magazines, 19,986 rounds of various calibers, additional munitions, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During recent security operations in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, substantial quantities of weaponry and ammunition were discovered and seized across various districts, namely, 4 automatic rifles in Khojavend district, 2 automatic rifles, 1 grenade launcher, 3 machine guns, 1,050 rounds of ammunition of various calibers in Fuzuli district and 6 automatic rifles, 1 pistol, 2 rifles, 7 grenades, 5 fuses, 160 rounds of ammunition of various calibers in Khojaly district.
