Azerbaijan's state budget deficit decreases by 34%

Azerbaijan's state budget deficit has decreased by 34 per cent.

Thus, Azerbaijan's state budget revenues reached 35,574.8 billion manats ($20,926.3 billion), expenses – 36,458.5 billion manats ($21,446.1 billion) in 2023, which is by 16 per cent and 13.7 per cent more than in 2022, respectively, Report informs citing the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

As a result, last year there was a budget deficit worth 883.7 million manats ($519.8 million), which is 34.4 per cent less than a year earlier.
