Azerbaijan secures deal for village revamp in Zangilan

The Service for Reconstruction, Construction, and Management of Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts has contracted with SSAL-2 LLC to carry out internal utility work (gas, water, electricity) as part of the reconstruction project for Jahangirbayli village of the Zangilan district.

The contract is valued at 11,207,687 manats ($6,592,757), Caliber.Az reports, citing the information posted on the Azerbaijani state procurement website.

The Azerbaijani government is making significant investments to transform Karabakh and East Zangezur into thriving economic centres. The “2022-2026 Social and Economic Development Strategy of Azerbaijan” and the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development” programs provide a comprehensive framework for revitalizing these regions. Since 2021, over $10.37 billion has been allocated from the state budget for ongoing reconstruction efforts.
