Azerbaijan: Six modular hospitals under construction in liberated lands
Six modular hospitals are under construction in Aghdam, Jabrayil, Kalbajar, Zangilan and Gubadli districts of Azerbaijan.
The statement came from the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azertag.
The state agency noted that one modular-type hospital had already been built and put into operation in Shusha.
The Agdam District Central Hospital, the construction of which started on February 13, 2022, and is designed for 210 beds, covers an area of over six hectares. This medical institution will have reception, therapeutic, cardiological, surgical, traumatological, orthopaedic departments, departments of cardiovascular surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, paediatrics, gynaecology, anesthesiology-intensive care, hemodialysis, etc. The outpatient part of the hospital will consist of an advisory polyclinic, a children's polyclinic, radiation diagnostics, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation departments, a clinical diagnostic laboratory and a pharmacy.
The Shusha modular-type hospital serving the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions liberated from occupation, the Family Health Centre in the Aghali administrative district in Zangilan and the Family Health Centre in the Hadrut administrative district in Khojavand have been provided with medical staff (doctors, secondary medical workers, drivers) and ambulances.
