Azerbaijan to host int'l scientific-practical conference on health tourism in Karabakh
Rashad Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Tourism Agency, shared details on Karabakh tourism opportunities while speaking at the panel discussion "Prospects of development of health tourism in Azerbaijan" at the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum held at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, Azertag reports.
"Kalbajar will have 5 recreational zones. Two of them, Istisu and Zulfugarly, will specialise in health tourism as we aim to develop this direction. Moreover, Istisu and Zulfugarly are going to develop the potential for investing in the future," he said.
Referring to the great potential of health tourism in the liberated territories, Aliyev noted: "An international scientific-practical conference on health tourism will be held in Karabakh next year. International experts will participate in the conference and discussions will be held on mastering the world's expertise".
