Azerbaijan to recycle construction waste in Aghdam
Construction waste generated during the occupation in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district will be recycled and used in construction work.
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) experts made an assessment visit to the liberated Azerbaijani territories in 2022 to render international support in eliminating environmental damage in these territories, Report informs citing a report prepared by the UNEP on the management of construction and landfill waste in the Aghdam district.
The visit was organised by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The construction waste taken in Shusha and Aghdam district was analysed to manage waste generated from construction and demolition of buildings in these areas, and a decision was made that the waste is suitable for use in construction after its processing.
