Azerbaijan to showcase scientific talent at International Astronautical Congress in Milan
Azerbaijan will be represented at the 75th International Astronautical Congress, to be held on October 14-18 in Milan, with a national delegation comprising 52 participants, including students, young specialists, and scientists.
Azerbaijan has submitted an impressive 345 scientific papers for consideration at the congress, Caliber.Az reports citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The previous year's Astronautical Congress, held in Baku, significantly contributed to Azerbaijan's outstanding performance this year.
Notably, 90 per cent of the scientific articles submitted by Azerbaijan were authored by young researchers, underscoring the nation's commitment to fostering the next generation of scientific talent.
The Milan congress has attracted over 7,000 submissions from 106 countries, reflecting a global enthusiasm for advancements in astronautics and space exploration.
The 75th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2024) stands as the premier global event in the space sector, uniting experts, professionals, and enthusiasts to discuss the latest advancements in space technology, research, and exploration.
Hosted by AIDAA in collaboration with the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), ISA, and Leonardo, IAC-2024 provides a vital platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among global stakeholders.
The congress will include plenary sessions, technical presentations, exhibitions, and discussions on crucial topics influencing the future of space exploration and utilization, making it an essential event for anyone involved in the space industry.
