Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss regional security PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Türkiye have discussed the regional security.

Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with a delegation led by Member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Chairman of the National Defence Committee of the parliament, former Minister of National Defence Hulusi Akar on January 29. Having greeted the guests, Colonel General Hasanov was pleased to see his former colleague in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

The minister emphasised that friendly and fraternal relations between the Azerbaijani and Turkish presidents play an important role in the development of bilateral military cooperation, as well as cooperation in all other spheres.

In turn, Akar expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan and thanked Hasanov for the hospitality and noted that Azerbaijan and Türkiye reached the strategic alliance level.

The regional security issues and several other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
