Baku hosts diplomatic talks on Türkiye–Azerbaijan cooperation Photo

Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (parliament), Sahiba Gafarova, held talks in Baku with Hulusi Akar, Chairman of Türkiye’s National Defence Committee and former Defence Minister, during his official visit.

Both parties underscored the continued strengthening of bilateral relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, highlighting the mutual support the two nations offer each other across a broad range of issues, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

During the meeting, Gafarova and Akar also noted the positive development of inter-parliamentary ties, which they said were progressing in line with the spirit of the high-level strategic partnership between the two "brotherly countries."

The two sides exchanged views on several matters of mutual interest during their discussions.
