Azerbaijan unveils total expenses on Karabakh’s reconstruction

The Azerbaijani government has spent 6.5 billion manats ($3.82 billion) to restore the liberated territories since late 2020.

The state budget for 2023 envisages 3 billion manats ($1.76 billion) in spending for the reconstruction of the Karabakh region, which is 12.4 per cent more than for 2022, according to Report.

Around 9 per cent of this year’s state budget expenses are intended for Karabakh’s restoration, which makes 2.8 per cent of the country’s GDP volume.
