Azerbaijani activists continue protests on Shusha-Khankendi road

The protest of the Azerbaijani eco-activists and NGO members, which began on the morning of December 12, continued overnight on the Shusha-Khankendi road despite frosty weather.

Report informs that the protesters were chanting slogans in defence of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and against the illegal exploitation of the country's natural resources.

They have also warned the Russian peacekeepers' commander, General Andrei Volkov, to come out or leave the territory of Azerbaijan.

New tents for the active participants were being set up on the Shusha-Khankendi highway. The activists pledge to continue their protests until their calls and demands are considered by the Russian peacekeeping command.
