Azerbaijani citizens allowed to travel by private cars to 8 more Karabakh regions

Starting May 20, Azerbaijani citizens will be permitted to travel by private vehicles to additional regions in Karabakh, including Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojavand, Jabrail, Zangilan, Khankandi, Khojaly, and Aghdara.

As reported by Caliber.Az, access will be granted through a permit system available on the official portal. Each permit is valid for two days and can be issued for up to nine people, including the driver.

Until now, permits for private vehicle travel were only available for visits to Shusha, Lachin, and Sugovushan.

Azerbaijan allowed its citizens to visit Shusha and Sugovushan settlement by private cars back in December 2023.
