Azerbaijani civilian seriously injured in mine blast

An Azerbaijani civilian has been seriously injured in a mine blast in Tartar District.

At about 17:00 on October 23, the Tatar District prosecutor's office received information that one person was blown up by a mine on the territory of Chili village, Oxu.Az reports citing the prosecutor's office.

According to the preliminary investigation, Samir Alizade (born in 1996) suffered serious injuries as a result of a mine explosion, which resulted in both legs being amputated.

The district prosecutor's office is currently investigating the case.
