Azerbaijani customs seize 4 kg of heroin from Pakistani national

Employees of the Azerbaijani General Customs Department of Air Transport have prevented a drug smuggling attempt.

Suspicious items were found in a suitcase belonging to Pakistani citizen Umar Muhammad, departing on a Baku-Doha flight, Caliber.Az informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

During the inspection, a glued plastic bag with heroin weighing 4,130 kilograms was found and seized. The fact is being investigated.
