Azerbaijani entrepreneurship fund allocates over $14 million to finance projects in Karabakh

Azerbaijan's Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) has so far allocated soft loans of up to 24 million manats ($14.1 million) to finance projects implemented in the country's liberated territories.

Member of the Fund’s Board Emin Shirinov made the remarks at a meeting with entrepreneurs in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

The meeting was held in Fuzuli and was organised by the Karabakh Territorial Main Tax Department of the State Tax Service

The event was attended by about 70 micro and small businesses operating in different spheres. The taxpayers were provided with information about the services provided, tax exemptions applied in the exempted territories, state guarantees for loans and subsidisation of interest on loans, as well as financial support instruments provided by the Fund to business entities.
