Azerbaijani families return to Khojavand, receive apartment keys PHOTO
As part of Azerbaijan’s ongoing resettlement programme, another group of Azerbaijani families has returned to the city of Khojavand, where they were formally handed the keys to their new apartments.
Officials from the Special Representation of the President in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand districts, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, and the Restoration, Construction and Management Service for the three districts attended the ceremony, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
Officials emphasised that the return forms part of broader efforts to ensure sustainable resettlement, restore infrastructure, and provide modern housing conditions for returning residents.
At this stage, 41 Azerbaijani families — a total of 138 people — have been resettled in Khojavand.
