Azerbaijani House opens in Luxembourg PHOTO
An Azerbaijani House has officially opened in Luxembourg, creating a new cultural and social hub for members of the Azerbaijani community living in the country.
The opening ceremony, held in the Grand Duchy, brought together Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union Vagif Sadygov, embassy officials, Luxembourg government representatives, and members of the Azerbaijani diaspora across the Benelux region, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The initiative, launched under the auspices of the LuxAz association, was presented as a platform aimed at strengthening community ties and supporting cultural engagement among Azerbaijanis abroad. Speaking at the event, LuxAz chairman Seymur Ahmedov outlined the organisation’s future plans and said the centre would serve as a focal point for social and cultural activities.
Ambassador Sadygov underlined the importance of the new institution, saying it would help Azerbaijanis in Luxembourg maintain strong cultural links with their homeland while also contributing to the country’s international representation.
The Ambassador of Luxembourg to Azerbaijan, Alain de Muyser, also addressed the ceremony, highlighting the significance of people-to-people ties and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
