Azerbaijan, China deepen judicial, legal ties

Azerbaijan’s Supreme Court has held talks with a Chinese delegation led by Ying Yong, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate.

Supreme Court Chairman Inam Karimov said relations between Azerbaijan and China, based on friendship and mutual trust, were developing successfully in various areas, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

The Azerbaijani side briefed the delegation on reforms aimed at improving the country’s judicial and legal system.

Ying Yong thanked the Azerbaijani side for the reception and stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries. He also praised Azerbaijan’s judicial and legal reforms.

The sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
