Azerbaijani, Kazakh space companies ink cooperation deal
The Azerbaijani state-run satellite operator, Azercosmos, signed a cooperation agreement with the Kazakh national company “Gharysh Sapary” on Wednesday.
The delegation of "Azercosmos" took part in the Conference of Space Technologies, which was held from May 10 to 11 in Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent, according to Report.
The event, held for the first time in the Central Asian region, was attended by representatives of the space agencies of the region and the international space community.
The conference highlighted the opportunities of the global space industry, satellites and their applications, innovations in the space sector, and field-related investments.
In addition, Azercosmos and Gharysh Sapary negotiated organizing joint projects in the space sector between the two countries and the mutual use of satellite resources.
