As part of the 2024 training plan, the "Explosive Ordnance Disposal" course is being conducted with personnel from the Navy's Marine Special Forces.
During the naval phase of the course, operations focus on detecting and disarming bottom mines, various types of explosive ordnance planted by suspected terrorist groups, and improvised explosive devices, Caliber.Az reports.
The course includes procedures for safely surfacing and destroying these explosives through controlled explosions and arson, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
The primary goal of the course is to align the combat training of units with modern standards and enhance the practical skills of servicemen. Additionally, it aims to improve the effective use of new engineering equipment to meet contemporary demands.
