Haber Global: Russia must acknowledge Azerbaijan’s authority Video
Russia must acknowledge Azerbaijan’s rising influence and adapt to the evolving balance of power in the region, according to a recent broadcast by Turkish media outlet Haber Global.
The programme drew a stark contrast between modern-day Russia and the nation it was in the 9th century or during the Stalinist era, arguing that Moscow’s principal challenge lies in its failure to accept present-day realities, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
“Russia no longer possesses the kind of power it once did. The Russians have recently become significantly weaker. A clear example of this is the war in Ukraine, which the Kremlin planned to end in 24 hours but has now dragged on for over three years,” the report stated.
The programme also highlighted what it described as Moscow’s increasing reliance on aggressive posturing to mask internal weakness.
“Russia is trying to intimidate Central Asia, as well as Türkiye and Azerbaijan. But the Russian authorities must realise that they will not secure victory by shooting down an Azerbaijani aircraft or subjecting its citizens to torture,” the broadcast asserted.
The segment concluded with a stark message: “Russia must acknowledge and respect Azerbaijan’s authority.”
