30 June 2025 20:42

The Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan and the Turkish Court of Accounts have signed key protocols formalising their cooperation plan for 2025–2027, including the implementation of parallel audits to enhance transparency and oversight.

A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Chamber of Accounts Chairman Vugar Gulmammadov, paid a working visit to Gaziantep, Türkiye, aimed at expanding bilateral collaboration with the Turkish Court of Accounts, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The visit focused on exchanging expertise and discussing the methodologies and scope of parallel audits.

During the meetings, Gulmammadov and Metin Yener, president of the Turkish Court of Accounts, engaged in in-depth discussions to further strengthen institutional ties and improve joint audit practices. In addition to talks with audit bodies, the Azerbaijani delegation met with key local officials, including the Governor of Gaziantep and the Chairman of the Büyükşehir Municipality, to foster broader cooperation.
