The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has expressed condolences to Pakistan in connection with the terrorist act that took place in the country.
“We express heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of brotherly Pakistan, and the families of the victims following the heinous terrorist attack in North Waziristan region on June 28, which tragically claimed the lives of at least 13 military personnel, and injured many others, including civilians,” Caliber.Az quotes the ministry as writing on X.

On June 28, a suicide bombing in the Khadi area of North Waziristan, a tribal district in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, targeted a Pakistan Army convoy, resulting in the deaths of 13 soldiers and injuries to 24 others.
The attack, executed with a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (IED), occurred at approximately 7:45 AM local time when a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle.
