Azerbaijani official laments big countries' indifference to Khojaly genocide
It is a pity that big countries were indifferent to the Khojaly genocide.
The remarks came from Elchin Yusubov, special representative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, Report informs.
According to him, the result was that Armenian separatists, who felt impunity, continued their criminal actions.
"The first and decisive steps in the direction of assigning a political price to the Khojaly genocide, bringing criminals to responsibility and directing the attention of the whole world to this tragedy are connected with the name of national leader Heydar Aliyev," he added.
According to him, important steps are currently being taken to return Khojaly residents to their native land.
"Our state is carrying out necessary works on resettlement of Khojaly residents to their native lands as soon as possible," he said.
