Azerbaijani, Pakistani space agencies ink MoU

Azerbaijan’s satellite operator Azercosmos, operating under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) have signed a memorandum of understanding.

The document provides for cooperation in various fields, in particular, joint actions in space science, technology and applied technologies, capacity building and exchange of experience, Report informs citing the ministry.

Chairman of the Azercosmos Directors Board Samaddin Asadov noted that the memorandum is of great importance in terms of improving space services between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, further expanding the space programme.

For his part, SUPARCO Chairman Amer Nadem emphasized that the signed memorandum will create ample opportunities for joint activities towards a prosperous future for the two countries.
