Azerbaijani police uncover cache of Armenian arms, ammunition in Jabrayil PHOTO/VIDEO
A recent operation conducted by the Azerbaijani police in Jabrayil district has uncovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition left behind by Armenian forces following the Patriotic War.
The Interior Ministry speaking to Caliber.Az, revealed the ongoing efforts to detect and seize weapons abandoned in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
According to the Ministry, police personnel in Jabrayil have been regularly conducting raids on former battlegrounds, inspecting trenches, and fortifications previously occupied by the enemy. During a recent sweep in Hovuslu village, their efforts yielded a substantial discovery.
"Three automatic rifles, a machine gun, a grenade launcher, and 29 mines were found and seized during the operation," the Ministry noted.
