Azerbaijani policeman seriously wounded in mine blast

A policeman who was blown up by a mine in Fuzuli District had his leg amputated.

He was hospitalized, and his leg was amputated below the ankle, Report informs quoting the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry press service.

"There is no threat to life," the Interior Ministry said.

At about 2000 on June 26, an officer of Fuzuli District police department, police Sergeant Ilham Salmanov, while on duty in the village of Ashagy Seidahmadli, liberated from Armenian occupation, received injuries of varying severity as a result of a mine explosion.
