Azerbaijani President, First Lady visit renovated Juma Mosque in Baku

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva have visited the newly overhauled Juma mosque in the Narimanov district of Baku.

The president and first lady attended the opening ceremony of the mosque, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani president’s press service.

For the record, the head of state had previously instructed the related bodies to carry out renovation work at the mosque.

Jeyhun Rustamov has been appointed an imam of the mosque.
