Azerbaijani president, incoming Filipino ambassador discuss bolstering bilateral ties

President Aliyev praised the development of Azerbaijani-Filipino relations across various sectors, including cooperation within international organizations, tourism, investments, and people-to-people exchanges. Ambassador Bensurto commended Azerbaijan's successful chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement, noting the significant institutional development achieved under its leadership. He congratulated Azerbaijan on hosting COP29 and confirmed that the Philippines would send a high-level delegation to the event.
President Aliyev thanked the ambassador for his kind words regarding Azerbaijan's role in the Non-Aligned Movement and COP29. He expressed gratitude for the Philippines' support in these endeavors and emphasized Azerbaijan's commitment to strengthening solidarity and building bridges between countries as part of the Global South during COP29.
