Azerbaijani sappers reveal over 700 unexploded ordnance in liberated lands
A weekly report on the work carried out by the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) in the territories liberated from occupation on April 8-14, 2024 has been unveiled.
One anti-personnel mine, five anti-tank mines and 725 unexploded ordnance were revealed in the liberated lands during the reporting period, Caliber.Az reports citing ANAMA’s message on X.
Around 476.7 hectares of territory have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
Earlier, three anti-tank mines, 30 anti-personnel mines, and 201 unexploded ordnance were revealed and defused on March 18-24.
A total area spanning 462.1 hectares was successfully cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
