Azerbaijani snipers enhance firearms training skills in recent course PHOTO

In line with the annual training plan, the Azerbaijani army has successfully conducted a comprehensive sniper training course designed to enhance the skills of its marksmen.

The course aimed to advance the tactical and technical expertise of Azerbaijani snipers by focusing on various critical aspects of sniper operations, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry's press service told Caliber.Az.

The training included an in-depth study of the tactical and technical characteristics of sniper rifles, which are essential for effective long-range engagements.

During the course, servicemen underwent rigorous practical exercises that tested and improved their firearms proficiency. 

Trainees learned to identify and secure optimal firing positions to maximize accuracy and concealment.

The course emphasized the importance of effective camouflage to blend seamlessly into diverse environments and avoid detection.

Snipers practised detecting and engaging targets at various distances, honing their skills in precision shooting and target acquisition.
