Azercosmos reveals implemented projects in Karabakh

Samaddin Asadov, the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos) Board Chairman, has disclosed the projects carried out by the agency in Karabakh.

On the liberated territories, using satellite images, significant work has been done to create fisheries, install greenhouse complexes, and identify favorable areas for creating agricultural parks, Asadov  told journalists, APA reports.

He noted that in connection with the reconstruction work in Karabakh, 54 reports were submitted to the Coordination Headquarters and state structures via the Azersky satellite.

“Large projects have been implemented to assess grain fields, identified on satellite images and register modern irrigation systems throughout the country,” he said.
