AZPROMO: Over 100 Turkish companies eye projects in Karabakh, Eastern Zangazur
Over 100 Turkish companies have applied to participate in projects in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, Tural Hajili, Deputy Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), said.
During a press conference regarding the II Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum held in Baku, he emphasised that Turkish companies have been very active in restoration and reconstruction projects following the liberation of Azerbaijan’s territories, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
“As you know, Azerbaijan operates a trade representative office in Istanbul, Türkiye, which actively organises visits of Turkish businesspeople to our country. Almost every month, we host several delegations, introducing them to available opportunities. We arrange meetings for entrepreneurs with their counterparts in relevant sectors. At the same time, within the framework of the investment forum, visits of Turkish businesspeople to Azerbaijan’s economic zones will be organised, allowing them to explore the opportunities there,” he noted.
The second Azerbaijan–Türkiye Investment Forum will be held in Baku on December 23, 2025. It is organised by AZPROMO together with the Turkish–Azerbaijani Businessmen and Industrialists Association (TÜİB), with the support of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy and Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade.
The forum aims to bring together officials, business associations, chambers of commerce, and private and public‑sector representatives from both countries.
Panel sessions at the forum will cover inter‑regional trade, energy transition, sustainable development, infrastructure projects, bilateral business cooperation, and aspects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
