Baku Stock Exchange turnover drops

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) made 8 billion 637,301 million manats.

This is 19.2 per cent less than the same period last year, Caliber.Az reports with reference to the BSE.

Last year the number of concluded transactions decreased by 25.8 per cent and made 5,534.

Government securities accounted for 4,735.371 million manats or 54.8 per cent of BSE turnover. This is 19.4 per cent less than a year earlier.

In the reporting period, the value of transactions in the market of corporate securities rose by about 2.3 times to  621.05 million manats and the value of repo transactions decreased by about 27.7 per cent - to 3.280.879 million manats.
