Books and publications issued by the IRS publishing house were showcased at the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union in Brussels.

During the presentation, Marjanli introduced guests to a collection of books highlighting the architecture, museums, and historical landmarks of Azerbaijan’s regions, with particular emphasis on publications dedicated to Karabakh and Shusha, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Marjanli introduced guests to books dedicated to the architecture, museums, and historical monuments of Azerbaijan's regions, with special attention given to publications about Karabakh and Shusha.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Vagif Sadigov, expressed gratitude to the IRS team, stressing the important role the publications play in promoting Azerbaijan abroad.

"The books and magazine published by IRS are devoted to Azerbaijan's history, culture, music, philosophy, and archaeology. In our daily activities, we, as diplomats, actively use these materials and are pleased to introduce them to our foreign friends and partners both in Belgium and in other countries where Azerbaijan"s diplomatic missions operate," the ambassador said.

Professor Philippe Humblé of the Free University of Brussels noted that he was deeply impressed by Baku’s unique blend of modern development and historical heritage, as well as by the atmosphere of religious tolerance in the country.

He added that literature had helped him gain a broader understanding of Azerbaijan, particularly through works such as Ali and Nino by Kurban Said.

Antonio Buscardini, President of the Brussels Press Club Europe, also recalled organising press tours to Azerbaijan for foreign journalists and shared fond memories of his visit to Nakhchivan.
