Bloomberg: US to send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine for $400 million

The United States will send Ukraine 31 Abrams tanks worth $400 million.

This was reported by Bloomberg journalist Jennifer Jacobs in her Twitter account.

"Biden admin will send Ukraine 31 M1 Abrams tanks in a deal valued at $400 millionl," Jacobs wrote, citing sources.

As The Washington Post previously reported, deliveries are planned to be made as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI), which involves the conclusion of relevant contracts by the Ministry of Defence with manufacturers, and not the provision of equipment and means directly from the Pentagon's stocks.
