Borrell: Demining and rebuilding Ukraine will take decades

It may take decades to recover from the war conflict and clear Ukraine of mines, European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said.

Borrel assessed the situation with Ukraine and its future during a speech at a conference on combating disinformation in Brussels, TASS reports.

"Rebuilding Ukraine and clearing its land and water areas from mines will take decades," the EU foreign policy chief stressed.

Other details related to European support for Kyiv have not yet been provided by Borrell.
