Buildings for border guards commissioned in liberated Jabrayil PHOTO/VIDEO
On behalf of Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, comprehensive measures to create the necessary infrastructure for border defence and security are continuing on the territories liberated from occupation.
On February 15, the State Border Service's military unit in the Jabrayil district opened new residential buildings for officers and warrant officers, the State Border Service told Caliber.Az.
The head of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, congratulated the personnel on commissioning houses intended for military personnel and their family members on the territories liberated from occupation.
Guliyev stated in his speech that following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and the liberation of the state borders from occupation, the necessary infrastructure for border defence and protection is being built in these territories, and consistent measures are being taken to improve service conditions and social security of servicemen.
After the opening ceremony, the personnel got acquainted with the conditions created in residential buildings and inspected the service apartments.
