Construction of the Shukurbeyli-Jabrayil-Hadrut motorway, which is one of the road infrastructure projects implemented on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Garabagh and East Zangezur economic regions, is nearing completion.
Caliber.Az reports that the Hajigabul-Minjivan-Zangezur corridor starts from the section of the main motor road passing through Shukurbeyli village of Jabrayil district and continues to the Hadrut settlement of Khojavand district. The length of the road under construction is 39.7 kilometres.
The Shukurbeyli-Jabrayil-Hadrut road is being constructed according to the first technical category with four lanes.
The Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway passes through Khojavand, Fuzuli, and Jabrayil districts, which were liberated from Armenian occupation in 2020. The highway covers about 20 settlements in the region, including the Hadrut settlement and Jabrayil city.
