Crimean resistance group claims sabotage at Russian arms factory PHOTO / VIDEO
A Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar partisan group, known as “ATESH”, has claimed responsibility for a sabotage operation at a key Russian arms and heavy machinery factory in Udmurtia.
According to the group, which posted the claim on their Telegram channel, the operation temporarily cut power to the Bummash plant in Izhevsk.
The plant, a critical supplier of metal blanks and special alloys for Russia’s defence industry, was partially paralysed after a transformer substation serving the factory’s main workshops was set on fire.
“ATESH” described the operation as a “successful sabotage,” noting that the disruption halted production at one of the strategic industrial sites in the region. The factory is known to play a significant role in supplying materials for weapons and heavy machinery used by the Russian armed forces.
