Diaspora officials from OTS member states undergo internship in Shusha, Khankendi
Representatives of diaspora organizations from the member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) visited Shusha and Khankendi as part of the second INTERNSHIP training program.
The guests first visited Shusha, where they received information about the city’s history and the Armenian vandalism against Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage, Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora.
Participants of the internship program hailed the rapid restoration and reconstruction efforts in the city.
During a meeting at Karabakh University in Khankendi, participants engaged in extensive discussions on the university’s research directions and potential for international cooperation.
Later, at Victory Square, guests were briefed on the city’s history, current situation, and social and cultural life. Attention was drawn to Khankendi’s strategic importance, ongoing restoration works, and prospects for future development.
