Drone attack triggers explosions, fire at oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region VIDEO

A drone attack struck an oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region, triggering more than ten explosions and a large fire in the city of Novokuybyshevsk, residents said. 

One of the city’s districts was engulfed in fire, with details on damage and casualties still being clarified, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media. 

Earlier, Russia’s Ministry of Defence said that air defence systems had shot down 20 drones launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the Samara region.

Russian authorities have not yet provided further details on the impact of the attack or confirmed damage to the refinery.
