Earthquake jolts Türkiye

Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) has said that an earthquake measuring 4.3 occurred in Kahramanmaras city in southeastern Türkiye.

The epicentre of the earthquake, registered at 06:31 local time (GMT+3), was at a depth of seven kilometres. The epicentre of the tremors was in the Goksun region, according to Report.

More than 53,000 people died as a result of powerful earthquakes in two districts of Kahramanmaras, namely, Pazarcik and Elbistan on February 6, 2023. The death toll exceeded 8,000 people in Syria.
