Erdogan on Israeli natural gas supplies to Europe via Türkiye

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced his intention to supply Israeli natural gas to Europe via Türkiye.

He told this to reporters on his return from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, TRT Haber reports.

He said he has been in contact with Prime Minister Netanyahu and hopes that this is the beginning of a warmer period in Israeli-Turkish relations. Erdogan stressed that the scheduled meeting with the Israeli head of government on June 28 will accelerate the rapprochement of relations.
