EU: Russian strike on Kyiv is "blatant disregard" for int'l law
EU High Representative Josep Borrel has said that yesterday's shelling of the Ukrainian capital by Russian missiles during the visits of the UN Secretary-General and the Bulgarian prime minister was a "blatant disregard" for international law.
"Russia has once again demonstrated its blatant disregard for international law by bombing Kyiv while UN Secretary-General António Guterres is present, alongside Bulgarian Prime Minister Kirill Petkov," Borrel wrote on Twitter, Caliber.Az reports.
He also added that he was shocked and appalled by the Russian missile strikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
On April 28, the Russian Armed Forces again attacked the Ukrainian capital with missiles. The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine said that a 25-story apartment building in Kyiv was partially destroyed as a result of the attack. According to preliminary data, 10 people were injured.
