EU’s South Caucasus envoy joins diplomatic tour of Karabakh, East Zangezur

European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus Magdalena Grono has joined a two-day visit by diplomats accredited to Azerbaijan to Karabakh and East Zangezur.

The visit began on September 11, with the diplomatic delegation accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The delegation comprises 150 representatives from 58 countries and nine international organisations.

On September 10, Grono held talks with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, with the sides discussing the expansion of Azerbaijan-EU co-operation.
